This past Saturday, Bangkok Island transformed into an epicenter of music, art, and pure energy as we hosted Discotheque in Bangkok 2024. Organized by CHAOTIC Tokyo x Underground Rising, the event brought the vibrant spirit of Shibuya’s nightlife to the Chao Phraya River for one unforgettable night. A Night to Remember
From the moment the boat set sail, the atmosphere was electric. Partygoers were greeted by stunning views of the Bangkok skyline as the 4-hour cruise kicked off with a bang, literally! The night opened with an amazing firework show, painting the sky with beautiful colors that reflected off the water and set the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
Hip-Hop Beats That Lit Up the Night
The main deck was alive with beats that kept everyone on their feet. A stellar lineup of DJs, including TOMOTH x CHIKU (Chaotic Tokyo) and MC COGA (Bangkok Invaders), delivered an exhilarating mix of techno, house, hip-hop, and digital rock. Each track was perfectly curated to keep the energy soaring all night long. Whether you were a die-hard raver or a casual music fan, the vibe was absolutely amazing.
ZaviaMuzik Stole the Show
Hip-hop lovers were in for a treat as the legendary rap group ZaviaMuzik (Ruhboy x Tao & Crew) took the stage. Their high-energy performance had the crowd hyped, rapping along and bouncing to the beat. The chemistry between the group and the audience was undeniable.
Adding to the magic, CHIP7 (The market Boyz) x JaeFreshman also delivered fiery sets, blending their unique styles to create a hip-hop showcase like no other.
Rocking the Lower Deck
For those craving something different, the lower deck was the place to be. With performances by five incredible live rock bands, including Ugoslabier, Jimmy Revolt, and The Greed, it was an all-out rockfest. The crowd was treated to raw talent, high-octane riffs, and passionate performances that brought the boat to life.
Art and Creativity on the Top Deck
While the music rocked the boat, the top deck offered a creative spot, where graffiti artists from Japan and Thailand, including CAZUL, NEV3R, and SADSAD THING, showcased their skills by live-painting T-shirts. Attendees had the chance to purchase these one-of-a-kind pieces, making the night not just about music but also about celebrating art and culture.
