Pride Cruise: Celebrating Diversity on the Chao Phraya River
To celebrate Pride Month, Bangkok Island hosted a special Pride Cruise on the Chao Phraya River, bringing together people from different backgrounds for an evening dedicated to diversity, inclusion, and self-expression.
This year’s event had a special meaning as it followed Thailand’s historic legalization of same-sex marriage, an important step toward greater equality and recognition. The cruise was an opportunity to celebrate this milestone while creating a welcoming space for everyone.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed live DJ performances, karaoke sessions, drag queen shows, and appearances from LGBT+ influencers and special guests. The open-air dance floor, colorful lights, and sunset views over the river created a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
