On June 21, 2026, Bangkok Island welcomed the Soul Sunday community onboard for Soul Island β Soul & Sunset Edition, transforming our riverside venue into a vibrant celebration of music, food, culture, and good vibes. β¨
As the sun slowly dipped behind the Bangkok skyline, guests gathered across the decks to enjoy an evening filled with soulful sounds, delicious food, and the unique atmosphere that only Bangkok Island can offer. ππ΄ With the Chao Phraya River flowing by and a golden sunset lighting up the city, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect.
π€ The night featured live performances from talented independent artists, soulful DJ sets, community cyphers, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow music lovers. A special highlight was the appearance of Atlanta-based singer and songwriter Ty the Guy, whose smooth vocals and modern R&B sound had the crowd singing along and swaying under the evening sky.
π₯ What made the event truly special was seeing Bangkok Island transformed into a floating soul music destination. From relaxed conversations over barbecue fresh from the grill π to spontaneous dance sessions on deck ππΊ, every corner of the boat was buzzing with positive energy.
π Beyond the music, Soul Island also supported the IDC Care Humanitarian Initiative, helping raise awareness and support for urban refugees and asylum seekers living in Bangkok. It was a beautiful reminder that music has the power not only to entertain but also to bring communities together for a meaningful cause. β€οΈ
