Turntables on the Chao Phraya — the new weekly Sunday session at Bangkok Island

Two years ago, Nickodemus and Nappy G blessed our dancefloor with a set of rare world grooves and house that left us seriously blown away. That night marked the very first Turntables on the Chao Phraya — inspired by Nickodemus’ legendary Turntables on the Hudson, which has been running for 30 years.

It’s a warm, sun-soaked sound, blending Latin, African, and Arabic influences with feel-good house beats that make you want to move.
Our ambition is to make this sound a signature of Bangkok Island and to invite local and international artists who fit the vibe every Sunday. For this second edition, we’re very happy to welcome Black Spaghetti to join us and close out the session with the sound that defines these Sundays.

We’re making it free for everyone — a proper way to close out the weekend, where everyone can come together, relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and let the music carry us. Watch the sunset over the jungle of Bang Krachao, take in the view, and let the grooves move you.
The boat stays docked — but we hope everyone will move with the music.
