COMMUNITY WEDNESDAY — Open Decks & Live Jam

Bangkok Island invites you to a special night on the river.

Bangkok can feel repetitive: same venues, same faces, same rules.
Community Wednesday is how we break that loop — a real meeting point for creative people, and for anyone who loves being around creativity. You don’t need to be a DJ. You don’t need to be a musician. Come to listen, meet people, and feel the energy — and if you do want to learn, we’ll help you take your first steps on the decks.

No headliners. No fixed band. No “you’re the audience, they’re the artists.”
This is a night where the line disappears. Strangers become a crew, and the river becomes the backdrop for a new kind of Bangkok — built by the people who actually show up.

Up top, Open Decks starts from 6PM: 10+ DJs every week. Mostly House and Techno — groovy, driving, hypnotic — with Drum & Bass usually landing later when the night gets heavier. Down below, from 7PM, the Hull Stage is a plug-and-play jam session with instruments on site (guitar, bass, keys, drums, mics, flutes + more). No fixed musicians — just show up, plug in, and bring your style. We don’t enforce genres, but we do love creativity over straight covers (or at least flip the cover into something new). With a serious sound system and a brand new digital mixer, anything can happen.

Community Wednesday คือวิธีที่เราทำลายลูปนั้น — จุดนัดพบจริง ๆ ของคนสร้างสรรค์ และของคนที่ชอบอยู่ใกล้ความสร้างสรรค์ คุณไม่ต้องเป็นดีเจ ไม่ต้องเป็นนักดนตรี แค่มาฟัง มาทำความรู้จักคนใหม่ ๆ แล้วรับพลังไปด้วยกัน — และถ้าคุณอยากเริ่มเล่น เราก็ช่วยพาคุณก้าวแรกบนเด็คได้เลย

ไม่มีเฮดไลเนอร์ ไม่มีวงประจำ ไม่มีเส้นแบ่งว่าใครคือคนดูใครคือคนเล่น
คืนนี้คือคืนที่เส้นนั้นหายไป คนแปลกหน้ากลายเป็นแก๊งเดียวกัน และแม่น้ำกลายเป็นฉากหลังของ “กรุงเทพฯ แบบใหม่” — ที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นโดยคนที่มาอยู่ตรงนี้จริง ๆ

ชั้นบน Open Decks เริ่มตั้งแต่ 18:00: ดีเจมากกว่า 10 คนทุกสัปดาห์ ส่วนใหญ่เป็น House และ Techno — จังหวะกรูฟ ขับเคลื่อน ลึกและสะกด — และช่วงดึกมักจะมี DnB มาเติมความเดือด ส่วนด้านในเรือ ตั้งแต่ 19:00 คือ Hull Stage กับ Jam Session แบบเสียบแล้วเล่นได้เลย มีเครื่องดนตรีครบ (กีตาร์ เบส คีย์บอร์ด กลอง ไมค์ ฟลุต และอีกเพียบ) ไม่มีวงประจำ — แค่มาแล้วเสียบเล่น ใส่สไตล์คุณเข้าไป เราไม่บังคับแนวเพลง แต่เราชอบความครีเอทีฟมากกว่าการเล่นคัฟเวอร์ตามต้นฉบับ (หรืออย่างน้อยก็ขอให้ “รีเวิร์ค” ให้เป็นเวอร์ชั่นของคุณ) ด้วยระบบเสียงแน่น ๆ และมิกเซอร์ดิจิทัลตัวใหม่ คืนนี้อะไรก็เกิดขึ้นได้
