A Floating Celebration Like No Other
Bangkok Island was transformed into a vibrant, high-energy carnival as the Purim Boat Party brought the wild spirit of Purim to the Chao Phraya River. Known as Israel’s answer to Carnival and Mardi Gras, Purim is all about letting loose, dressing up in outrageous costumes, and embracing the madness of the night. This year’s celebration delivered on all fronts, creating a night filled with music, dancing, and unforgettable moments.
Two Floors, Two Worlds of Music
The top deck was a haven for electronic music lovers, starting with Middle Eastern and Balkan beats before transitioning into techno and full-on psytrance. The night kicked off with a lively performance by Bangkok Riddim Syndicate, setting the mood with their infectious Balkan-inspired sounds. As the evening progressed, the energy escalated with Tension Techno and Psytrance, taking the crowd on an electrifying journey of deep bass and hypnotic rhythms. The open-air rooftop setting, paired with pulsating beats, created a euphoric dancefloor under the stars.
Inside, the live stage delivered a completely different but equally captivating experience. A special jam session led by Raphael & Friends filled the air with a mix of covers and original compositions, blending global influences into an organic, free-flowing performance. Guests moved effortlessly between the two floors, embracing the contrast of high-energy electronic music and soulful live tunes.

Costumes, Drinks, and the Ultimate Purim Experience
A Purim party isn’t complete without wild costumes, and guests came prepared to impress. The boat was filled with superheroes, mythical creatures, eccentric characters, and elaborate disguises, adding to the chaotic and joyful energy of the night. The full bar kept everyone fueled with an array of drinks, and those looking for a bite enjoyed special hummus, a delicious nod to Purim’s Middle Eastern roots.
A Night to Remember
From the moment the boat set sail, the Purim Boat Party was an immersive experience of music, community, and pure celebration. With two distinct music spaces, a crowd dressed in their most outrageous outfits, and an energy that didn’t let up until the boat returned to the pier, it was truly a night to remember. Whether guests were dancing to psytrance under the stars or vibing to live music inside, one thing was certain—Purim on Bangkok Island was an unmissable experience of musical mayhem and non-stop fun.
