This is the first event of many under the : “Muy Tropical” sign. Uniting all latin and world beats celebrated around the tropics.
Since building a beach bar we were waiting to do such events and give people opportunity to chill and vibe to the sound of Central&South america.
๐๐๐ก๐ ๐จ๐ฃ– Fabรฃo (live): The Brazilian guitarist and singer will vibe you to great Bossa and Samba tunes with his acolyte Tiago on percussions
– Stickey Keys (Djset) : Selecta producer out of Malaysia/Us spinning all kinds of Caribbean groove from Raggamuffin to Reggaeton and Dub.
– Pableroy (Djset) : The Honduran-American poet will be behind the decks for a Cumbia and Latin set.

Soโฆ finally I came back from another dimension (weekends' dimension ๐๐๐) and got ready to work.
I would like to say... huge "Thank you" ๐๐๐to the all organizers of the Geek Island Boat Party and particularly to the Pornpiroon Supannafai from Bangkok Island ๐๐๐
There was everything you need beginning with SNACKS๐ข and finishing with GUNS ๐ซ (laser guns coz we are peaceful ๐
๐
๐
).
Especially I fell in love with the Bang Sue Electrix band ๐ซ and now I'm the one of their channel subscribers (so far not numerous but everything is ahead ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐งโโ๏ธ).
โ๐ค๐ It was big, friendly, international and multi-interest bearing event and even a rain couldn't stop us and the celebration neither.

The whole event last night was so unprofessional. The info on the website stated that Asiatique was the pier, so I told... my friend to wait for me there but when I really checked (I had to look on FB myself) it was at another pier, so I needed to call my friend to take a taxi there before itโs too late. The staffs could have just sent us emails the day beforehand, it doesnโt cost any $ to be professional.. I canโt believe you guys get paid for this. Also, no wristbands, not even a stamp to make sure that those on the boat are the people who paid the fare, like come on, how much does a stamp rubber with Bangkok Island logo cost..
The whole party was super awkward. I suggest you should invest on better MCs to keep the party smooth rather than random DJs and bands tbh. Not to mention, the stereos on the 2nd deck were so cranked to the point where they blew up.
The food was also very soso. The mashed potato tasted weird, although the lady was kind enough to give me a new one but just want to let you know, so you can improve. Maybe, at least put some light on the food section, so itโs easier to see what it is.
Seats werenโt enough which was understandable if this was a โlitโ party where people could dance and mingled but because the whole vibe was awkward with awkward music, so it was awkward to keep on standing. Bangkok Island needs to work on more on what kind of atmosphere you want to give off because the whole thing wasnโt good enough and I wasnโt impressed.
Also, most of the parties I have been to, they usually have welcome drinks (it can simply be soft drinks, at least) and do take credit cards if you wish to sell drinks on the boat. Lastly, If you want to be institutionalized as a place where party-goers would go in Bangkok, you need to work harder on improving the service, event organizations, food catering etc.
