⚠️ Because the landlord of Bangkok Island has decided that all events have to be a cruise from now on, I have to cancel this Jambox session.
I can not afford to move the boat and keep it a free entrance. I sadly have to cancel this time. Jambox will be back in September or October.

The main instruments will be available on stage (drums, guitar and bass amps, mics, keys..). If you play the violin, trumpet, sax, didgeridoo.. please bring it with you and jam along.

So… finally I came back from another dimension (weekends' dimension 😄😄😄) and got ready to work. I would like to say... huge "Thank you" 🙏🙏🙏to the all organizers of the Geek Island Boat Party and particularly to the Pornpiroon Supannafai from Bangkok Island 💗💗💗 There was everything you need beginning with SNACKS🍢 and finishing with GUNS 🔫 (laser guns coz we are peaceful 😅😅😅). Especially I fell in love with the Bang Sue Electrix band 👫 and now I'm the one of their channel subscribers (so far not numerous but everything is ahead 💥💥💥🧚‍♀️). ✌🤘🖖 It was big, friendly, international and multi-interest bearing event and even a rain couldn't stop us and the celebration neither. The whole event last night was so unprofessional. The info on the website stated that Asiatique was the pier, so I told... my friend to wait for me there but when I really checked (I had to look on FB myself) it was at another pier, so I needed to call my friend to take a taxi there before it’s too late. The staffs could have just sent us emails the day beforehand, it doesn’t cost any $ to be professional.. I can’t believe you guys get paid for this. Also, no wristbands, not even a stamp to make sure that those on the boat are the people who paid the fare, like come on, how much does a stamp rubber with Bangkok Island logo cost.. The whole party was super awkward. I suggest you should invest on better MCs to keep the party smooth rather than random DJs and bands tbh. Not to mention, the stereos on the 2nd deck were so cranked to the point where they blew up. The food was also very soso. The mashed potato tasted weird, although the lady was kind enough to give me a new one but just want to let you know, so you can improve. Maybe, at least put some light on the food section, so it’s easier to see what it is. Seats weren’t enough which was understandable if this was a ‘lit’ party where people could dance and mingled but because the whole vibe was awkward with awkward music, so it was awkward to keep on standing. Bangkok Island needs to work on more on what kind of atmosphere you want to give off because the whole thing wasn’t good enough and I wasn’t impressed. Also, most of the parties I have been to, they usually have welcome drinks (it can simply be soft drinks, at least) and do take credit cards if you wish to sell drinks on the boat. Lastly, If you want to be institutionalized as a place where party-goers would go in Bangkok, you need to work harder on improving the service, event organizations, food catering etc. You’re welcome.read more
